You may have tried asking your nearest and dearest to step up, getting some time off work, hiring a cleaner, joining a yoga class… but still, day-to-day life remains an upwards struggle.
Studies* have shown that the sad truth is that women in the western world have more power than they have ever had before yet they are less happy than they were 40 years ago and face frighteningly high levels of burn out. This is because the power it took to get us where we are, to create amazing opportunities, to compete and to be taken seriously is not the power that is going to sustain us. Why? Because we are women trying to live like men. I’m peri-menopausal and suffering from general overwhelm! How can coaching help?
You’re in your 40’s or 50’s and experiencing a whole myriad of physical and emotional challenges? Maybe you’re having trouble sleeping, debilitated by hot flushes, want to leave your work, husband or kids!? Perhaps your mood is low or you are anxious about navigating day to day life? The first step is knowledge, understanding how these radical hormonal shifts are having an impact on you and how to adapt. The second step is making long lasting life choices without (in Alexandra Pope’s words) “burning the house down!”. Coaching is an ideal place for reflection and implementation with care, love and spaciousness.
I’m worried that coaching is more of a commitment than I can manage.
Concerned about purse-strings and time constraints? Unsure you can commit to a 12 week program? Yes, coaching is a financial and practical commitment. As well as the regular sessions, there will be some integration assignments to do on your own as well as some reflective practices. This is how transformation happens, through commitment and a desire to take coaching to its full potential.
How it works
Firstly contact me to book a free 20 minute discovery call so you can find out if coaching will be helpful for you. Before the call I will send you a link to a free Woman’s Powertype questionnaire. This can lay the foundations of your program as you will find out which are your more pronounced power types and which ones could do with more work (more will be revealed!). This is something we can build on in our sessions together.
The program comprises12 sessions (either in Zoom or in person in Oxford) where we can work on any area of your life where you feel you need support. Of course we may go “off piste” but we will very much be in partnership on this journey and any change of direction will be with your agreement.

This includes additional email support throughout the program.
